How RingSpar works

Practice callers built from your calls. One playbook for scoring practice and real calls. Coaching that connects the two.

Practice out loud

Reps call a practice caller from the browser and talk it through, out loud. Callers are built from your own recordings, so they bring the questions, objections and moods your team hears every day.

  • Callers built from your own calls
  • Stock AI voices, never copied from real people
  • Sounds like a phone line
  • Managers set the longest a call can run
A live practice call in RingSpar. The caller, Derek, a CFO with a renewal next month and a competitor quote in hand, is talking. The timer shows 1:42 and an End call button is shown.

Scored on your playbook

Upload the playbook you already train with. RingSpar drafts a rubric of steps and points from it, you edit and approve it, and every call is scored against that rubric.

  • Points for each step, with the quote that earned them
  • Things reps must never say, like unapproved discounts, flagged with the line
  • What to improve, linked to your playbook
  • Practice scorecards ready in about a minute

Real calls, same rubric

Connect your phone system and real calls are scored on the same rubric as practice. You see how people do on the job, measured the same way they trained.

  • Aircall today, RingCentral and others connected during setup
  • Or upload recordings from any system
  • Rule breaks flagged with the exact words
  • Practice never counts toward real-call scores
A real call scorecard: 27 out of 100, not passed. Two things reps must never say were flagged: an unapproved discount and badmouthing a competitor, each with the quote and line number.

See the whole team

One view per team: each rep's average on each step of the playbook over the last 28 days, who needs help with what, and every serious rule break.

  • Weakest steps highlighted for each rep
  • Rule breaks listed with the quote
  • Practice activity next to real-call results
The team overview for an account management team: four reps by five playbook steps, with the weakest scores shaded. A summary line says which step each rep needs help with, and that there were 3 serious rule hits this period.

From a gap on a real call to practice on that gap

This is the coaching loop in Monitoring + coaching.

  1. 1

    A gap shows up

The team view shows a rep keeps losing points on the same step, such as handling pushback.

  2. 2

    Assign practice

Pick a caller who pushes on exactly that point and add a note. The rep sees it next time they sign in.

  3. 3

    Check the real calls

The rep's next real calls are scored on the same step, so you can see whether the practice worked.

What setup looks like

Plan on about a week from sign-up to your team's first scored practice call. Most of that is connecting your phone system, which we do with you.

  • Upload your playbookCall guides, scripts or training notes. About 15 minutes.
  • Connect your callsConnect your phone system or upload recordings. We do this with you.
  • Approve the scoringEdit the drafted steps and points, then approve. About 30 minutes.
  • Invite your teamReps sign in from their invite and take a first practice call.

See it with your own calls

Book a consult and we'll walk you through it, then set up a pilot with your own team.
